New Youth Commission!

District seeks Middle and High School Students
South Suburban seeks youth to advise the District on what is important to local teens. Youth will practice their skills in critical thinking, communications and creativity, while learning about local government, and the park and recreation industry. Come Smell and Prune the Roses!

The B.I.G. Day!

Be Involved, Give Day is an opportunity to volunteer within our community. Join South Suburban Park Foundation and South Suburban Parks and Recreation for three trail clean-ups along the Big Dry Creek Corridor and the Carson Nature Center at South Platte Park. Blood Screenings, Apr. 22-25, 7 – 9:30 am; Select South Suburban Locations
University Hospital and South Suburban team up to provide affordable, comprehensive blood screenings.  No appointment necessary.  Ages 18 and up. Fasting required. Cost $40 for cholesterol and more than 30 blood components. Read more. 

Cinco de Mayo and Zumba®

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo, by participating in a Zumba® Fitness Party. Join the Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness party.  Enjoy a great workout with snacks and giveaways offered.  Daily drop-in fees apply.  Open to ages 10 yrs. and up.  Ages 10-11 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Meet & Greet & Eat!

Tues., May 13, 4-6 pm, Sterne Park, Littleton
Stop by South Suburban’s Booth at the Meet, Greet & Eat event, sponsored by City of Littleton. Meet your neighbors and talk with the city manager and city council members.  Free pizza, drinks and ice cream! Have fun checking out South Suburban’s Kid’s Fitness Fun Van activities.
